University Retirement Community in Davis, CA is currently seeking a Full Time Activity Assistant to work in our beautiful community.
Schedules available : Full time (hours range from 9 : 30am-7 : 00pm); 3 days on and 3 days off
Wages : $18.00 - $21.49 / hr DOE
What youll be doing :
You will implement therapeutic activity and life enrichment programs in the facility. You will support volunteers and lead holistically designed activity programs that support person centered care philosophy and a high level of care.
About you :
- Experience in a senior living facility, recreation therapy, or a related field is preferred.
- Current and valid CPR / AED and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Working knowledge in gerontology, dementia, physiology and anatomy, and / or recreation therapy.
- Communication skills, interpersonal skills, customer service skills, team building skills, and / or leadership skills.
- Computer skills, including experience with electronic medical records systems.
