As a Bus Driver at University Retirement Community, you’ll provide transportation and parking services for our 200 residents. You’ll get the chance to interact with our residents on a daily basis and ultimately feel like you’re making an impact on someone’s life every day!

As a Bus Driver at University Retirement Community, you’ll provide transportation and parking services for our 200 residents. You’ll get the chance to interact with our residents on a daily basis and ultimately feel like you’re making an impact on someone’s life every day!
What You’ll Do
- Coordinate vehicle schedules for residents.
- Drive vehicles to transport residents and guests on campus and to and from surrounding areas.
- Inspect vehicles to check for any malfunctions or deficiencies and perform minor preventative maintenance & service on vehicles.
- Maintain the upkeep of vehicles including washing vehicles, cleaning interior, and keeping vehicles fueled.
- Complete set ups on time for events, activities and other programs as needed.
About You
- Possess a valid California Commercial Class A/B Driver License with passenger endorsement
- Have at least 1 year of experience driving a commercial vehicle and driving passengers
- Clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- First Aid and CPR certification
- Excellent communication & customer service skills
- Strong desire to work with seniors
