We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Community Manager to oversee the management, leasing, and maintenance of both residential and retail spaces while driving sales and revenue growth. Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of residential and retail spaces.
- Handle tenant relations, including addressing inquiries, complaints, and requests.
- Ensure the property is well-maintained by coordinating with maintenance, janitorial staff, and vendors.
- Foster relationships with local businesses and organizations to support retail tenants and community engagement.
- Screen potential tenants, negotiate lease agreements, and coordinate move-ins and move-outs.
- Monitor tenant compliance with lease terms, including operating hours for retail spaces.
- Develop and execute effective sales and leasing strategies to achieve occupancy and revenue goals.
- Market available properties through various channels, including online platforms, social media, and networking.
- Showcase residential and retail spaces to prospective tenants and buyers, highlighting key features and benefits.
- Collect rent and other payments, maintaining accurate financial records.
- Stay informed about market trends, competitor activity, and real estate laws to capitalize on opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including fair housing laws.
- Conduct regular property inspections to identify potential risks and address them proactively to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in property management, preferably with residential and retail properties.
- Strong understanding of leasing practices and property management software.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of local real estate laws, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field preferred.
- Property management certification (e.g., CPM, ARM) is a plus.
- Real estate license is preferred.
