Starting pay of $17 - $19 per hour dependent upon shift and inclusive of base pay and any incentives. Please see wage details below.
The following shifts are available:
Day Shift: Monday- Friday, 5:45am - 2:15pm (base pay with a shift differential = $17 - 18 / hourly)
Evening Shift: Monday - Friday, 1:45pm - 10:15pm (base pay with a shift differential = $18 - $19 / hourly)
- Administer and accurately record the administration of medications as prescribed by a resident's physician(s) in accordance with company policy and applicable state and federal guidelines under the supervision of a nurse
- Obtain, record, and report resident vital signs
- Manage the supply of medications
- Provide accounting for all medications ordered, received, stored, and administered
- Care for the personal needs, safety, and comfort of our residents
- Assist residents with activities of daily living including wardrobe, personal hygiene, and mobility
- Observe and report changes in residents' condition and status
- Conduct rounds to monitor for hazards or incidents
- Assist in dining including escorting residents to the dining room, serving, and clean-up
Education:
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Certified Medication Aide (CMA) for the State of Oklahoma (NOT MEDICAL ASSISTANT)
Experience:
- Six months of work experience in a retirement community setting is preferred
- Candidate must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively with residents, families, guests, and other associates in English
- The ideal candidate will be caring, organized, and able to multi-task
