What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNA Transport Driver position at University Village?
Are you looking to make a genuine difference in the lives of others? University Village is looking for a professional and personable Driver to transport our residents comfortably, safely, and timely. To be considered for this role, you should have an Oklahoma State certification as a CNA / long-term care aide, a valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record with no traffic violations.
This position is Monday through Friday and requires some flexibility in the start and end times.
Hourly pay of $15 - $16, comensurate with experience
- Provide transportation services to residents, ensuring timely arrival to scheduled appointments
- Operate and maintain the community vehicle in a safe and clean manner
- Drive the community vehicle on resident day trips and outings
- Transport residents from the hospital
- Help with resident moves and relocating, both internal and external
- Assist residents with loading and unloading walkers, wheelchairs, etc.
- Perform all other duties as assigned for Health Center
- 6 months or more experience as a Driver
- A valid driver’s license
- A clean driving record
- State of Oklahoma Certified Nurse Aide / Long Term Care Aide
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively with residents and their families in English
