Organize relevant financial data. Spread and evaluate audited, reviewed, and company-prepared financials in addition to corporate and personal tax returns and personal financial statements. Responsible for preparing and/or presenting Deal Screen Memos for new relationship/credit opportunities
Gather and submit all relevant information and data to submit loan requests for underwriting and approval.
Underwrite larger and more complex commercial credit exposure within the Commercial Lending portfolio.
Monitor the risk profile of designated relationships through collection and examination of financial data and covenant testing.
Assist relationship manager in gathering all pre-closing requirements for commercial loan closings
Monitor and resolve delinquencies, collateral exceptions, and loan documentation exceptions.
Establish relationships across the organization to best serve clients needs and assist relationship managers
Establish operational relationship with designated clients to handle routine daily operation requirements and other client requests. Assist in loan closings and board presentations as appropriate or required by designated Relationship Managers.
Build a detailed COI networking and prospect calling plan by attending outside networking events to build sales/prospecting skill set
Accountable for compliance with laws and regulations that apply to this position including the Univest Code of Conduct.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
2-3 years Credit Evaluator or equivalent experience.
Ability to manage risk within Portfolio, including loan grading and loan pricing.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or equivalent experience in related area desired. Trained Financial Evaluator preferred.
Ability to handle most problems/exceptions in a self-reliant manner.
Knowledge of commercial lending practices, compliance issues, and underwriting skills.
Strong mutual, written, and oral communication skills.
PC experience, specifically in Excel, Word, and Outlook desired.

We're hiring an Associate Portfolio Manager to join our Commercial Banking Team in Doylestown.
Assist Middle Market Group and assigned relationship managers with client and portfolio management

Wage Range:
The salary for this position ranges from $41,200 to $71,800
