We are looking for a Senior Claims Specialist to join our growing team of insurance professionals.
This position will be hybrid and can work out of our Coopersburg, Lansdale or Intercourse, PA offices.
Responsibilities
Take first report of claims as they are received by the agency.
According to established parameters, processes claims that are designated for internal claim handling or reporting. Assist client toward direct reporting to the insurance carrier when possible.
Create claim log in agency management system.
When there is dissatisfaction with claims handling by the insurance company, become a mediator between the client and the company.
Advise producers or management of serious claim activity.
Keep abreast and utilize claim inquiry technology offered by insurance companies.
Track and monitor increase in claim reserve activity.
Responds to claims-related inquiries from agency personnel, repair shops, producers, etc.
Provide after-hours claims service to clients as needed.
Responsible for compliance with laws and regulations that apply to the position, including the Univest Code of Conduct
Perform additional duties as required
Qualifications
Property and Casualty Insurance License
2-3 years experience
Wage Range :
The salary for this position ranges from $60,000 - $80,000 annually
