Univision of Atlanta Inc. in Atlanta, GA seeks a full-time Digital Content Producer to work directly with newsroom staff to create, edit, publish, optimize, distribute and promote Univision linear and nonlinear content, with the ultimate view of growing audience and share.
Responsibilities include :
- Production of compelling digital content for the station, using current production and web-delivery tools.
- Publishing content on multiple digital platforms, including mobile, online, and social networks.
- Creating, editing, publishing, and managing content that aligns with and enhances the station brand.
- Repurposing existing content.
- Demonstrating results for the application of innovative and creative approaches to drive audience loyalty.
- Building capability within the newsrooms to think and act digitally, generating engaging, compelling, and timely content.
- Creating and curating best-in-class digital content for local market consumption.
- Adapting and creating new content for various social media platform promotional programs.
- Identifying news stories of the day and planning coverage appropriate for various digital media platforms (website, mobile apps, newsletters, and social media).
- Communicating with the newsroom about trending topics online and helping find sources and interesting topics for digital news consumption.
- Engaging with the audience by connecting to social conversations.
- Experimenting with new formats for social media content creation.
- Maintaining a digital content calendar containing priority events, initiatives, and opportunities.
- Writing and editing articles and headlines.
- Managing social media accounts.
- Writing metadata for video clips.
- Managing YouTube pages.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent in Communications, Journalism, or related field plus 2 years of experience in the occupation or as a Digital Content Producer / Publisher.
Must be fluent in written and spoken Spanish. Must have experience publishing online content. Must have experience working with news assignment desk editors at news organizations.
