Your Day-day
- Oversee all equipment including studio cameras, video and lighting equipment
- Support and troubleshoot all broadcast equipment and malfunctions
- Install and Maintain broadcast television equipment including routers, cameras, lighting. microphones, mixers and monitors.
- Support Live Control Room and Studio Production systems
- Monitor inbound and outbound feeds
- Troubleshoot, maintain and report any technical issues with equipment
- Respond to and resolve issues that affect news production operations
- Keep quality Control reports
- Camera Video Shading basics
- Provide operational support related to proper operating and maintaining of all equipment
- Participate in troubleshooting with the direction of experienced technical engineers and staff
- Assist Manager working closely to improve workflows
- Must have at least three years experience with broadcast television studio equipment and on air live shows
- Must be familiar with all aspects of television production
- Experience working with PC’s and server based systems
- Knowledge of Routers, RTS, teleprompter, monitor and Live Feeds
- Good communication skills
- Enhanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
- Works independently
- Flexible work hours are required, including holidays, weekends, and evenings
- Remove, Lift and Replace Equipment
- Installing new equipment, pulling cables and related activities
- Experience with manual and electrical tools
- Bachelors Degree and previous experience in computer science or equivalent major.
- Some Broadcast Engineering experience
- Bilingual Spanish, English
- Broadcast News Experience
- Avid editing systems

- Inews
