Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday (6:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
Reports to: General Manager

SUMMARY: Are you a proven operations leader with a passion for manufacturing, logistics, and team development? This is your chance to join a dynamic operation in Charlotte, NC, managing a 136,000 sq. ft. facility supporting a high-growth manufacturing process. The previous Operations Manager was promoted to General Manager—now, we’re looking for someone who’s ready to take on this exciting growth opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operational Oversight: Manage daily operations in a two-shift environment, including warehousing, kitting, and transporting units to the manufacturing plant for final assembly.
• Team Leadership: Lead and develop a team of 10-12 managers and oversee 115 hourly employees across two shifts. Build a positive, collaborative culture focused on accountability and fairness.
• Inbound/Outbound Operations: Oversee 15-20 inbound loads/day and 20-25 outbound loads/day, ensuring seamless plant operations.
• KPI Management: Set, monitor, and enforce key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive operational consistency and performance improvement.
• Budgeting & Financials: Support financial operations with a foundation in budgeting and P&L management. The GM is willing to train candidates who have basic financial acumen but are eager to grow.

We need a leader with a strong background in manufacturing operations, warehousing, and transportation. The ideal candidate is comfortable in a fast-paced environment and thrives on building high-performing teams. Here’s what we need:
Manufacturing & Logistics Experience: Experience in manufacturing, shipping, transportation, and inventory management is essential. Familiarity with kitting operations is a huge plus.

• Proven Leadership: You have a track record of leading, mentoring, and developing teams. You’re a hands-on leader who knows how to bring out the best in people.
• Financial Acumen: At least basic experience with budgeting and P&L management is necessary. You’ll receive mentorship to enhance these skills, but a foundation is required.
• Emotional Intelligence: You’re calm, collaborative, and fair. Leaders who respect their teams, offer guidance, and then trust them to execute will thrive here.
• Strong Problem-Solving Skills: You can handle high-pressure situations, manage multiple moving parts, and maintain composure while resolving conflicts.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
