Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Patient Care Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and possess experience in various medical settings, including emergency medicine, inpatient, outpatient, and surgical units.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of nursing staff
- Assist patients with activities of daily living
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any abnormalities to the nursing team
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
- Maintain a clean and organized patient environment
- Support patients and their families during hospital stays
Experience
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting, such as a hospital or clinic, is preferred
- Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures
- Experience working in diverse units like Level I Trauma Center, PICU, Medical-surgical, OR, and Level II Trauma Center is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
