As a Territory Manager in the warehousing sector, you’ll drive business growth by cold calling and developing new clients. This role focuses on identifying and securing new sales opportunities within a designated territory. Candidates should bring a proactive approach to sales, strong organizational and communication skills, and a proven ability to maintain customer relationships. Success in this role requires a blend of enthusiasm for sales, a hunter mentality to be out knocking on doors, proficiency, and the strategic foresight to meet client needs in a competitive market.
Key Responsibilities & Qualifications
- Grow, develop, and sustain a new customer base.
- Cultivate long-term relationships with new clients.
- Identify prospective accounts and successfully close new sales opportunities.
- Hold a 4-year degree.
- Have 2-5 years of sales experience, within MHE (Material Handling Equipment)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer skills.
- A motivated self-starter with a passion for sales.
- Strong organizational, planning, presentation, and communication abilities.
- Personality that is hungry and driven and can be self-maintained.
