The RoleThe Senior Front-End Engineer will be instrumental in building high-performance, user-friendly interfaces for Unlearn’s AI-powered clinical development platform. This role requires deep expertise in React / Next.js, TypeScript, and modern UI frameworks, with a strong focus on AI-driven tools and administration interfaces. Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop scalable, maintainable front-end applications that enhance user interaction and experience.Collaborate with product managers and designers to turn innovative concepts into fully functional products.Ensure high UI performance, using observability tools for real-time monitoring and optimization.Continuously iterate and improve on the platform, shipping frequent updates based on user feedback.Drive best practices in front-end development, mentoring team members and advocating for technical excellence.Stay up to date with emerging technologies and incorporate advancements that improve development efficiency and user experience. Required Qualifications5 years of experience in front-end development.Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and Next.js.Experience in building reusable component libraries and working with design tools like Figma or Storybook.Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Jest, Playwright, or Cypress.Understanding of Git, CI / CD pipelines, and agile methodologies.Ability to work in Unlearn’s San Francisco office at least two days per week (Tues / Thurs). Preferred QualificationsExperience in AI-driven enterprise applications.Background in full-stack development, with experience taking projects from 0 to 1.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to architect scalable front-end solutions.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts.
