What are the responsibilities and job description for the Early Childhood Education Teacher position at Unleashing Potential?
Unleashing Potential is hiring for Early Childhood Education (ECE) Teachers at our Caroline Mission site located at 2828 Caroline Street, St. Louis, MO 63104.
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of curriculum development and program evaluation, child growth and development, effective instructional strategies, classroom management, learning assessment and research relating to learning.
- Develop weekly plans and implement age appropriate curriculum to nurture and stimulate all domains of children’s development in their care.
- Play an active supporting role with parents in the education and development of children.
- Monitor the progress of children through maintaining an accurate electronic portfolio for each child.
- Implement effective program measurement tools with document-targeted outcomes
- Maintain positive communication with all stakeholders.
- Maintain a minimum of 18 clock hours yearly
- Attend all agency conferences, meetings, trainings including evenings, and weekends.
- Assist to further Unleashing Potential’s mission, vision and goals. °
- Other duties as assigned.
