What are the responsibilities and job description for the Residential jobsite manager position at Unlimited Construction and Development, Inc.?
POSITION: Residential Jobsite Manager will have direct responsibility for administrative and technical management of the construction sites. This position will oversee self-performance labor and subcontractors. Other responsibilities include monitoring the quality of work performed and adhering to a schedule. The Jobsite Manager will coordinate directly with the support staff.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
· Review plans, checklists, and other project-related documents
· Self perform some construction tasks
· Balance time to keep track of progress of work performed on the job
· Site inspections, punch-lists
· Delegating subcontractor tasks
· Approximately 50% administrative work, 50% field work
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND KNOWLEDGE QUALIFICAIONS
· Experience in residential construction or similar field
· Knowledge and experience in general phases of construction from start to finish
· Knowledge of Microsoft Office products
· Ability to communicate effectively and work with subcontractors, vendors, and office staff
· Works with limited supervision and as part of a team
· Ability to prioritize and work under pressure to meet deadlines
· Have reliable transportation
· Ability to travel within the state of Illinois
· Experience with general construction tools
· Experience with general construction repairs and maintenance
· Light carpentry experience preferred
