Business Developer
Unlimited Landscaping and Turf Management is seeking an experienced Landscape Business Developer to join our team! We’re a family-owned and oriented company that’s been in business for over 30 years. We are looking for someone who can build and maintain trusted relationships with key decision makers in the community, find and engage in new project opportunities, are self-motivated, and can work under little supervision.
Duties and Responsibilities
A Business Developer is responsible for helping organizations obtain better brand recognition and financial growth. Their duties include coordinating with company executives, sales, and marketing professionals, reviewing current market trends, and proposing new business ideas to improve revenue. The duties and responsibilities of a Business Developer include:
- Identify and research potential clients
- Develop and maintain client relationships
- Coordinate with sales teams to develop mutually beneficial proposals
- Negotiate contract terms with clients and communicate with stakeholders
- Monitor project teams to ensure contracts are executed as agreed
- Gather useful information from customer and competitor data
- Make and give presentations to prospective clients and internal executives
Education And Experience Requirement
Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or Certification in Business Relationship Management
Equivalent experience in Project Management, Industrial Technology, or Supply-Chain Management
Skills and Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability in business-to-business (B2B) sales
- Impeccable verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with project management methodologies
- Familiarity with the landscaping industry including equipment, logistics and supply-chain management
- Problem-solving skills to propose mutually beneficial solutions
- Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software
- Ability and willingness to travel for meetings with prospective and existing clients
