AFC Residential Site Supervisor Job Description. Join our Adult Foster Care Team in providing hands on person-centered support to people with disabilities and mental health issues. The AFC Residential Site Supervisor will provide support to individuals by assisting them with their daily living needs in order for them to gain independence and lead fulfilling lives in the community. House managers oversee and manage the employees assigned to their site and are responsible for the overall management of the household.
Residential Site Supervisor Responsibilities:
Oversee AFC staff related functions at assigned house site.
Communicate regularly with AFC Managers.
Monitor and maintain employee scheduling and time worked. Ensures adequate staffing for all shifts/Track Overtime.
Manage all staff on site on a day-to-day basis.
Trains all new staff at site – Complete 2 Shadow Shifts & the Orientation Training Checklist.
Manages house site budget, petty cash fund and resident funds.
Responsible for maintaining cleanliness of facility.
Oversee all administrative, clerical record keeping, clinical record keeping, medication administration, transportation, and coordination of care duties at assigned home site(s).
Communicate with all teams for individuals in the assigned house site.
Responsible to facilitate and attend all internal and external clinical, medical, and regulatory services, meetings, and appointments.
Co-facilitate and attend all staff and team meetings with direct supervisor/manager.
Review all notes after team meetings to ensure that you are up to date with changes at site and communicate all changes to staff.
Responsible for Staff evaluations.
Work directly with AFC Manager to recommend suspensions, terminations, and disciplinary actions for staff at their site.
Personal Care (I.e. showering and toileting)
Report any nursing concerns to the RN and communicate any Injury/Illness (GER) as needed.
Report any staff injury to HR Manager and complete First Report of Injury documentation.
Implement, track and complete quarterly licensing book check for the house books. Report any Licensing concerns to Licensing Specialist.
Abide by all company policies and procedures.
Perform job functions in accordance with the Vulnerable Adult Law, Rule 203 Law, Minnesota Vulnerable Adults Reporting Act and the Mission Statement for Unlimited Possibilities.
Performs other duties as assigned or requested.
Qualifications:
-Two years experience serving people with developmental disabilities.
-Must be at least 18 years of age
-Must possess a valid driver's license (required) and must have a clear driving record.
-Ability to meet DHS standards on criminal background study
-Basic domestic skills (cooking, cleaning, laundry).
-Excellent verbal and written interpersonal communication skills.
