Speech-Language Pathology Assistant

Unlimited Potential Rehab and Wellness is a growing adult and pediatric private practice providing mobile, in-home treatment for our patients throughout SD county- looking for a SLP-A to cover the Carmel Valley area.

We are looking for a licensed speech language pathologist assistant who is interested in being part of a fun, collaborative, and creative team of therapists dedicated to providing high quality therapy to our patients.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a SLP-A to be able to do new patient evaluations mostly and treatments as needed. Setting goals and a plan of care to guide the care. As of right now, this role will be 8-12 hours/month, providing 8-12, 1 hour visits for a patient. We will be looking to grow the speech therapy part of the business allowing for more hours if wanted. This would be a good job for someone looking to supplement their income in the short term until this job can become more of a full time opportunity.

Documentation done on Jane app. Evaluation notes take about 10-15 minutes. Treatment notes roughly 3-5 minutes. All patients are private pay only, no billing insurance needed.

Start date: ASAP

Position Summary:

• Evaluate patients with communication and swallowing disorders. Develops and implements treatment plans to address those deficits.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of overall experience, preferred.

Licenses:

• Licensure or eligible for licensure by the California Speech Pathology and Audiology Board.
• Current California driver’s license, required.
• Current auto insurance, required.

Certifications:

• Current BLS certification, required upon hire; American Heart Association Healthcare Provider.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $65.00 per hour
