Front Office Specialist - NW Las Vegas

The Front Office Specialist schedules patient appointments, greets patients and visitors, answers and directs phone calls, checks patients in and out, verifies insurance eligibility and assists in general office duties. This recruitment will establish a list to fill current and/or future vacancies that may occur in the next three (3) months.

Educational Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalency
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum six (6) months experience in customer service; preferably in healthcare.
• Current and valid driver’s license
• Demonstrated ability to use a computer with Microsoft Office knowledge
• Knowledge of ICD-10, and CPT coding guidelines
• Medical terminology
• Knowledge of Medicare guidelines
• Excellent oral/written communication skills
• Must be well organized and detail-oriented
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, team members, physicians and the public
• Bilingual Spanish a plus
