Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Senior PeopleSoft FSCM Business Analyst with 8 years of experience in financial and supply chain management systems. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise to analyze business needs, identify solutions, and manage complex projects independently. A high degree of creativity and judgment is expected to ensure the successful implementation and improvement of PeopleSoft FSCM systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and document business objectives, user requirements, and system procedures to recommend and implement effective system solutions.
- Collaborate with organizational units to review current processes, identify inefficiencies, and define specific data input/output needs.
- Develop detailed system documentation, including functional specifications, user needs, and program modifications.
- Perform cost/benefit analysis and feasibility studies to assess system capabilities and proposed program changes.
- Lead hands-on end-to-end system integration and external interface testing.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to conduct work sessions, gather requirements, and present functional analysis.
Required Skills:
- 8 years of experience as a Business Analyst on PeopleSoft Financials and Supply Chain Management (FSCM) projects, focusing on implementations and upgrades.
- Expertise in PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2 Asset Management.
- Proven experience in gathering business requirements, creating formal functional documentation, and conducting presentations for stakeholders and SMEs.
- Hands-on experience with system integration, testing, and functional analysis.
- Proficiency with Microsoft O365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
- Experience with MS Teams and managing communication with large teams.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with public sector organizations (Federal, State, or Local Government).
- Familiarity with the Comptroller of Public Accounts (CPA) CAPPS Financials system.
- Experience with PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2 modules including Accounts Payable, Purchasing, General Ledger, and Commitment Control.
- Proficiency with PeopleSoft Approval Workflow Engine (AWE).
- Hands-on experience with tools like Jira, Scrum framework, and STAT for project management and tracking.
