What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender position at Uno?
Reports To: Manager on Duty
Job Purpose: Bartenders are responsible for guaranteeing an environment of genuine, heartfelt hospitality while preparing and serving great beverages.
Job Duties:
- Mix, garnish and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to company specifications for guests seated at the bar and in the dining room
- Be knowledgeable and enthusiastic about our menu offerings
- Suggest additional items to guests as appropriate
- Maintain cash and cash equivalents in a responsible manner
- Solicit guest feedback and ensure guest satisfaction
- Keep the bar stocked and clean while always providing friendly, attentive service
- Adhere to company standards for serving alcoholic beverages responsibly
Qualifications:
- Has a strong sense of genuine, heartfelt hospitality
- Ability to work eight hour shifts, with extensive standing/walking
- Ability to consistently lift or carry up to 25lbs
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Previous experience preferred
