The Unquowa School seeks a full-time Spanish teacher for the 25/26 school year. The ideal

candidate will be a nurturing, adaptable person who understands the developmental and

cognitive needs of elementary school students and who can teach

collaboratively in a creative, cooperative environment. The successful candidate will have

experience with teaching to a range of Spanish language students within one classroom. In

addition, they will have a commitment to our school’s mission and an interest in being involved

in our community through participation in school-wide committees and activities.

Requirements

• Fluency in Spanish and a Bachelor’s Degree required
• Minimum 2-4 years teaching experience with strong understanding of modern language
  
  

instruction that focuses on teaching in the target language required.

• Experience with hands-on learning and inquiry based methods
• Clear understanding of differentiated instruction
• Effective oral and written communication with parents
• Commitment to professional development
• Experience using technology to enhance instruction
