As we continue to grow, we are looking for a dedicated and experienced Food and Beverage Manager to join our team and oversee the daily operations of our food and beverage services.
Position Overview: The Food and Beverage Manager will be responsible for leading and managing the food and beverage operation at Rocker B Ranch, ensuring the highest standards of quality, service, and guest satisfaction. This individual will oversee all aspects of food production, service, inventory management, staffing, and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate is an experienced leader with a passion for hospitality, strong organizational skills, and a hands-on approach to managing a high-volume, resort-style dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Management
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of all food and beverage outlets, ensuring that all services meet or exceed guest expectations.
- Develop and maintain efficient operating procedures for all food and beverage functions, from preparation to service.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment, ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.

Inventory and Ordering
- Manage food and beverage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock for operations, ensuring quality and cost control.
- Approve orders for food and beverage supplies, working closely with suppliers to negotiate competitive pricing and ensure timely delivery.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and audits.

Staffing and Human Resources
- Hire, train, and manage food and beverage staff, including chefs, servers, bartenders, and support staff.
- Create staff schedules, approve timecards, and ensure adequate coverages for all shifts.
- Foster a positive and motivating work environment, encouraging teamwork, professional growth, and high standards of customer service.
- Monitor and evaluate employee performance, providing constructive feedback and managing performance issues as needed.

Quality Control
- Analyze cost control measures, including food cost percentages, labor costs, and other operational expenses, to improve efficiency and profitability.
- Work with senior management to implement strategies for cost reduction and increased revenue.

Guest Satisfaction
- Act as a point of contact for guest concerns or feedback regarding food and beverage services, resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure that all food and beverage services are delivered with exceptional customer service, exceeding the expectations of both our athletes and guests.
- Stay attuned to guest preferences, adjusting menus, service style, and overall offerings to meet their needs.

Administrative and Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, staff schedules, ordering, and budgetary expenses.
- Prepare and present regular reports on food and beverage performance to senior management.
- Ensure all necessary licenses, permits, and insurance for food and beverage operations are maintained and up to date.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience as a Food and Beverage Manager or similar role in a high-volume, resort-style environment.
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, including inventory management, ordering, and cost control.
- Experience in staffing, training, and team leadership.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests, staff, and management.
- A passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- A food safety certification and other relevant qualifications are preferred.
