Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy associate to join our Production art team. This role focuses on troubleshooting Embroidery and Screenprint artwork issues related to automated art systems that generate product imagery — specifically mockups on garments and color block templates. You will act as a bridge between the creative and technical production process, ensuring that all artwork flows smoothly through our automation system and that any visual or technical discrepancies are quickly identified and resolved.
Job Responsibilities
- Fix art files and/or send back to the artist/digitizer with notes on what to fix.
- Make sure orders are routing correctly and know how to reroute if necessary.
- Create manual images on garments/caps that can’t be mapped correctly through the dashboard.
- Communicate missing or unmapped garments/caps to the Digital Asset Artist Lead.
- Understanding of art dashboard error codes and be able to assess and fix them.
- Monitor the process image and black Box control to make sure arts are going through the system properly.
- Need to convert old EPS files into new AI files.
- Communication with Embroidery and Screen-print art support
- Create clear documentation of recuring issues and solutions for future reference
- Will assist with Quality auditing and editing assignments as job knowledge increases.
- Special Projects are assigned as needed
- Overtime will be required at certain times throughout the year.
Minimum Qualifications
- Degree in Commercial Art, Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or related experience.
- Working knowledge of the Macintosh computer and advanced knowledge of Adobe – Creative Cloud, especially Adobe Illustrator.
- Professional design skills, including a strong knowledge and understanding of typography.
- Available to work overtime during peak demands and event seasons (daily and weekends).
