Job Summary
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Merchandising Intern to support our team in trend research, product presentation, and go to market coordination. This role provides hands-on experience in retail and fashion merchandising, assisting with product planning and development. The intern will work closely with the merchandising team in support.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in researching industry trends, competitor analysis, and customer preferences.
- Support the development of seasonal merchandising strategies, mood boards, and product presentations.
- Support sample management
- Support presentations on merchandising trends.
- Perform other merchandising-related tasks as needed.
Qualifications & Skills
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and creative skills with an eye for design and detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with fashion trends, consumer behavior, and merchandising concepts.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively with teams.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, or other design tools is a plus.
- Must be currently enrolled at one of the following institutions: University of Georgia, University of South Carolina, University of Cincinnati, University of North Carolina, University of Southern California, University of Maryland
