Summary
This position’s main function is to prepare garments for printing as they come in from the warehouse and to ensure that the correct garments are received.
Essential Duties
- Reads and interprets shop pack; reads ship via codes (NDA, BWY, etc…); reads shipping comments; checks for event date.
- Verifies shipping indicator (NB4, SIP, CAO, etc…); and reconciles shipping manifest
- Prioritizes work according to ship, event and cancel date requirements.
- Accurately verify product description and quantity.
- Matches correct garments-screens-shop pack.
- Records quantities received on shop pack.
- Records associate number on shop pack.
- Checks the notes for any special processing requirements.
- Pulls garments from totes or cartons.
- Counts garment accurately.
- Lays out garments on carts for decoration.
- Marks color changes on orders.
- Prints pre-price tickets.
- Orders replacement garments as needed.
- Helps finishers pack, weigh, and document as needed.
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred, but not required.
- Basic computer skills needed
- No certifications needed
