Summary
This position is responsible for ensuring the Screen Printer is able to work efficiently. Provides press operators with inks and other supplies for the next run. Performs press teardowns and setups and ensures the printing equipment is available and in working order.
Essential Duties
- Places specific ink colors and appropriate squeegees with orders.
- Provides printers with job specific supplies as necessary.
- Restocks common ink carts.
- Assists printers with teardowns.
- Reclaims ink from screens and places ink back into original buckets.
- Cleans all squeegees thoroughly.
- Removes tape from screens prior to placing in tub.
- Places dirty screens to the Screen Room according to schedule transfer times.
- Communicates openly with Supervisor, SP Assistant, Printers and Finishers.
- Maintains clean and orderly work stations and ink carts.
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred, but not required.
- No Computer skills needed
- No certifications needed
