Unrivaled is already known for having one of the coolest social media accounts in sports. We are seeking a hardworking, energetic, and passionate Social Media Specialist to help us build on our success by executing our social content plan and fostering a growing and vibrant online community year-round. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated utility player to develop their skills in social media and digital marketing. Key Responsibilities
Edit captions and publish social posts across the Unrivaled social landscape. Serve as the keeper of our brand voice for journalistic accuracy, audience relevance, and tone, including real-time decision-making at various stages of content development.Support the Social Media Director in keeping the content plan on track and various stakeholders informed about required deliverables and key deadlines.Ensure that we are uploading frequently, without sacrificing brand integrity or quality.Surface brand appropriate UGC for potential repost.Offer feedback on ideas during the development process to ensure content will resonate with our social audiences.Analyze metrics performance of social content and recommend insights to improve future social media decisions.Assist with assignment of work to graphic designers and researchers as needed.Support our producer / shooters by capturing footage at league events and game days.Assist with making sure players get access to content immediately after events.Assist our Community Manager Engage users with prompt responses, organize competitions, ask questions and cultivate relationships.Qualifications
1-3 years experience in social media and content marketing.An ideal candidate must have a passion and knowledge of sports and extensive experience writing social copy under pressure, and finding, sourcing and aggregating user-generated content.Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or other editing platforms.Proficiency and knowledge in all the latest social media trends and best practices. You understand how to execute trends within a league format.Able to build a rapport with athletes, coaches, and other high profile talent.You thrive in fast-paced, continuously evolving environments and are flexible to work irregular hours.You can manage several projects simultaneously with limited supervision under tight timeframes, and can adapt well to changing priorities and deliverable requirements.You possess a strong work ethic and relentless commitment to quality and efficiency.You collaborate well with other creatives and welcome notes and constructive feedback.Current residence in the Miami metropolitan area is highly preferred.What we offer
