What are the responsibilities and job description for the Custodian- On Call position at Unspecified?
South Umpqua School District is seeking reliable and dedicated individuals to join our team as On-Call School Custodians. The ideal candidates will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and healthy environment for students, staff, and visitors. This position is on an as-needed basis, providing coverage for custodial staff absences as needed.
Locations: Tri City Elementary, Myrtle Creek Elementary, Canyonville School, Coffenberry Middle School, South Umpqua High School.
Job Type: On-Call/As Needed
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Self-motivated and able to work with little supervision. Ability to communicate effectively (verbally and in writing) and follow written and oral directions. The ability to work harmoniously with staff and students is a necessity.
Good physical health and ability to perform manual labor. Physically able to perform essential job functions which include lifting 50 pounds, pushing, pulling, and carrying on a regular basis.
Duties: Ability to perform various custodial duties. Sanitize restrooms, showers, locker rooms. Sweep/mop/wax/buff or vacuum floors. Dust, wash windows, empty trash, paint, and other duties as assigned.
Salary: $18.27 per hour
