Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments of customers' energy needs and provide tailored solar energy solutions
- Collaborate with customers to design customized solar systems that align with their financial and energy goals
- Prepare and deliver impactful sales presentations, educating customers about the benefits of solar energy and showcasing our products and services
- Negotiate contracts and pricing to secure customer agreements and close sales
- Coordinate effective project handoffs to installation teams, ensuring smooth and timely project execution
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing exceptional customer service and post-installation support
- Stay updated on the latest solar industry trends, technological advancements, and government incentives to effectively advise customers
- Attend industry events and networking opportunities to expand our customer base and generate leads
- Minimum 1 year experience as a Solar Consultant
- Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and achieving revenue goals
- Extensive knowledge of solar energy systems, including design, installation, and system components
- Strong understanding of financial incentives, rebates, and tax credits related to solar energy
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to customers
- Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred
