The Developer will be responsible for ensuring high-quality code and optimal performance of applications.
*Duties*
- Design, develop, and implement software solutions using various programming languages and frameworks, including Ruby on Rails and Python.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments to identify and mitigate potential security risks in applications.
- Utilize Continuous Integration practices to streamline development processes and enhance code quality.
- Manage virtualization environments to support application deployment and testing.
- Collaborate with system administrators to ensure seamless integration of applications within existing infrastructures.
- Develop RESTful APIs to facilitate communication between different software systems.
- Write and maintain VBA scripts for automation tasks within applications.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
*Qualifications*
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Ruby on Rails, Python, and VBA.
- Experience with Continuous Integration tools and practices.
- Familiarity with Azure cloud services for application deployment.
- Strong understanding of system administration principles.
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies is a plus.
- Experience in conducting vulnerability assessments is preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly.
