What are the responsibilities and job description for the Drafting-CAD Modelling Technician-Kalida, OH (Temp/Part-time) position at Unverferth Mfg US?
Shift: Temporary Part-Time; (20-40 hours per week / 1- 2-year project)
Principal Functions of the Position:
We are looking to fill up to four part-time Drafting/CAD Modelling positions. The primary responsibility will be converting Orthman products from SolidWorks to Autodesk Inventor by developing accurate 3D CAD models and 2D drawings in alignment with company standards.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop 3D CAD models of piece parts and assemblies using Autodesk Inventor.
- Recreate existing SolidWorks models in Inventor.
- Generate detailed 2D drawings that meet company standards.
- Utilize Microsoft Teams for communication and collaboration.
Working Conditions:
This is a full-time office-based position that requires spending the entire workday at a computer. The role involves extended periods of sitting, typing, and engaging with digital tools and software in a professional office environment.
Pre- Requisitions:
- Prior experience with 3D CAD modeling is required (Autodesk Inventor or SolidWorks preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong communication skills using Microsoft Teams.
