Job Description :
- The candidate must be flu vaccinated.
- Work in a medical-surgical unit with a focus on rehabilitation.
- Responsible for patient care and management on a unit with 10 beds, primarily working with adult patients with mixed acuity.
- Maintain a night shift patient ratio of 1 : 5.
- Utilize equipment such as feeding tubes, ventilators, trach care, Alaris IV Pumps, Hoyer lifts, Kangaroo Pumps, negative pressure wound therapy, and suction devices.
- Use electronic medical records systems including Cerner and ITW.
- Participate in floating requirements, being open to working in different units.
- Demonstrate compassion, effective communication, and the ability to educate patients and families.
- Adhere to the dress code by wearing galaxy blue scrubs and avoiding hoodies, t-shirts, sweatshirts, or any other attire outside of the uniform.
- No call requirements.
- Weekend hours are required every third weekend from 6 : 30 PM to 7 : 00 AM.
