Description :
This position is for an Operating Room Nurse with a shift from 10 : 30 AM to 11 : 00 PM.
The facility guarantees 36 hours per week.
Weekend shifts are every six weeks on a Saturday rotation.
The role includes being on-call for at least 40 hours every six weeks.
The unit has 31 operating rooms with a patient ratio of 1 : 1.
Experience with equipment such as Mako Robot, DaVinci SP & XI Robots, O-Arm, and Rosa Robot is beneficial.
The Electronic Medical Record system used is Cerner.
Preferred skills include 3 years of OR experience and strong skills in handling high acuity surgical patients.
The types of patients encountered include neuro (spine and cranial navigation), orthopedic (including robotics / arthroscopic), thoracic and vascular (complex), transplant, and ENT / radical neck procedures (complex).
A flexible, adaptable, and eager-to-learn attitude is essential.
The position requires a team player with a positive can-do attitude and a willingness to work across service lines.
Scrubs are provided by the facility.
