Job Description
Job Title : Registered Nurse (RN)
Job Specialty : Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
Job Duration : 13 weeks
Shift : 7 : 00 PM - 7 : 30 AM
Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week
Experience : Minimum 2 years
License : Registered Nurse License
Certifications : BLS, ACLS, NIH
Must-Have : PCU and Multiple surgical / intermediate care experience
Job Description :
- Provide care in a mixed acuity setting, including post-trauma, metabolic issues, and diabetes patients.
- Work within a team and demonstrate a positive, collaborative personality.
- Adhere to patient ratios of 4-6, with an average of 5 : 1.
- Utilize ICU medical pumps and GE System central monitoring.
- Operate within the Cerner EMR system.
- May be required to float within mixed acuity units.
- Work up to every other weekend based on unit needs.
- Maintain compliance with dress code, wearing galaxy blue scrubs and ensuring proper grooming standards.
- Contribute to a positive and efficient unit environment as a team player.
- Ensure patient safety and high-quality care standards are upheld.
