Job Description
Job Title : Registered Nurse
Job Specialty : OB / GYN (Mother / Baby - Couplet Care)
Job Duration : 13 weeks
Shift : 7 : 00 PM - 7 : 00 AM
Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week
Experience : Minimum of 3 years
License : Registered Nurse
Certifications : BLS, NRP, STABLE (Basic Fetal Monitoring preferred, but not required)
Must-Have : Experience caring for postpartum moms and newborns
Job Description :
- Provide comprehensive care for postpartum mothers and healthy newborns.
- Occasionally care for patients with benign GYN and antepartum conditions.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort through attentive monitoring and care.
- Document all patient interactions and care plans using electronic medical records (EMR : WatchChild / Cerner).
- Maintain a patient ratio of 3 couplets to 1 RN.
- Uphold the dress code with galaxy blue scrubs.
- Participate in weekend work every third weekend; no on-call requirements.
- Foster a supportive and compassionate environment for patients and families.
