One of the largest behavioral health facilities in the nation, Peace Hospital is known for providing care for children, adolescents, adults and senior adults, age 55 and older. Our Kosair for Kids Children’s Peace Center is the largest and most comprehensive private provider of youth inpatient behavioral health services in the country treating children and adolescents with behavioral health and co-occurring disorders. We have a partial hospitalization program for school-aged children and an inpatient specialty program for children and adolescents who have complex treatment needs, such as intellectual or developmental disabilities accompanied by acute behavioral and psychiatric symptoms. Job Summary
The Art Therapist is responsible for providing direct clinical services to child, adolescent, and adult patients utilizing art and other expressive therapies to address interpersonal issues that cause emotional distress.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and enrollment in Art Therapy MA program
- Ability to complete Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) training and successful completion during new hire orientation.
- BLS required from American Heart Association
Preferred Qualifications
- Masters degree from accredited AATA approved program or non-AATA approved program with a minimum of 18 credits in specified art therapy coursework. OR, significant progress towards MA from ATTA approved program or non-AATA approved program with min of 18 credits in art therapy coursework.
