Facilities Manager, Dallas, TX
UOVO seeks a Facilities Manager to join its dynamic and growing team. The Facilities Manager is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of the facility, completing work requests, managing a facilities budget, capital planning, small project management, and supporting staff / clients with facilities-related needs.
The ideal candidate will have 4-5 years of general facility maintenance experience and experience working in building maintenance specifically as it relates to warehouse maintenance and climate controlled space with strong technical knowledge as well as an understanding of workplace and personal safety on the job. This position is located in UOVO’s Las Colinas facility and reports to UOVOs Associate Director of Facilities located in Florida.
Core Responsibilities
- Managing mechanical equipment maintenance plans and activities including fire suppression systems, overhead doors, HVAC equipment, control systems, pumps, water filters, bathrooms, dock levelers, low voltage electrical systems, and general conditions.
- Responding promptly to any equipment or facility-related breakdowns
- Oversee access control systems and security cameras, including maintenance of call lists
- Conduct regular fire / life safety drills for existing staff
- Assist with procuring estimates and proposals from various third parties, also management of scheduling third parties to ensure adherence to service contract requirements
- Troubleshoot and assist staff members and clients with various requests in a timely manner
- Communicate the completion of any and all work orders to necessary staff and any relevant vendors
- Assess extraordinary maintenance required for the property & ensure all facility equipment is maintained per the manufacturer spec in a timely manner
- Monitor and track attic stock and materials required to service the building in adherence with the UOVO facilities budget
- Contracting for building repairs and maintenance - floors, carpeting, paintwork
- Support all facility-related requests for internal and external events that take place on site
- Schedule and assist any and all inspections related to the facility
- Escort vendors and contractors working within Uovo’s facilities
Qualifications & Skills
This in-person position requires on-sitepresence at UOVO’s facility located in Los Colinas five days a week, with occasional requests to work nights and on weekends. Available on-call 24 / 7 for emergencies.
