SUMMARY :
We are seeking a creative and data-driven Editorial Director to lead the creation, planning, and implementation of world-class editorial content across UP Entertainment’s streaming and digital platforms. This role involves setting the editorial direction with disciplined, data-informed content creation to entertain and engage audiences, growing our digital communities. The ideal candidate will have experience in digital media, organic audience growth, and leveraging cultural moments.
The Editorial Director will collaborate with various teams to ensure digital content (social media posts, blogs, brand collaborations, etc.) elevates UP Entertainment’s brand and resonates with target audiences, optimizing search and conversion. This role routinely applies SEO and CRO best practices, monitors emerging social platforms and digital media trends, and uses insights and analytics to refine our editorial voice, improve discoverability, and support business objectives. This role is pivotal in implementing content-based lead capture and conversions across multiple brands. This journalist-minded leader thrives in a fast-paced digital environment, builds agile workflows, understands the power of storytelling and has strong knowledge of digital media.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Strategic Leadership : Direct editorial voice across brands and teams, plan content, manage calendars, and ensure messaging aligns with brand identity and KPIs.
- Content Creation : Lead the planning and execution for creation and publishing of digital content, ensuring brand voice consistency and cross-platform optimization. Develop highly engaging editorial concepts based on brand creative briefs and thorough understanding of brand strategy. Optimize editorial calendars using performance data. Develop content briefs that align with marketing goals and seasonal promotions, clearly defining content purpose (awareness, consideration, lead capture, etc.) and key performance indicators (KPIs). Approve major content pieces.
- Performance Analysis : Analyze data to track and assess KPIs, adjusting content strategies as needed to improve conversion rates.
- SEO & Social Media Optimization : Implement best practices in SEO and social media to maximize content visibility and lead generation.
- Digital Innovation : Stay updated on emerging trends and tools in digital content creation to keep editorial voice fresh and effective.
- Effective Teamwork : Work closely with brand and marketing stakeholders, content creators, and community engagement team to develop workflows and meet deadlines without compromising quality.
- Cross-Platform Alignment : Ensure content is amplified across social media and other digital platforms. Partner with external influencers and brands to expand reach.
- Lead Generation & Conversion : Develop content that grows and engages audiences to convert leads into trials and subscriptions.
