Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Neuro/Ortho/Peds Unit team. The successful candidate will possess exceptional patient-care skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrate a commitment to delivering high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care treatment.
- Document patient care given.
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate to the care team, physician, patient, and family.
- Assist patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
- Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
- Evaluate learning needs of patient and/or family and provide patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
