As the EVS and Facilities Supervisor, you will provide direction, orientation, training, coaching and mentoring to department staff. You will be responsible for coordinating daily Housekeeping staffing while auditing and verifying cleanliness and condition of on and off campus facilities. In this role, you will take pride in ensuring and contributing to your team’s abilities to create a welcoming and clean environment for our patients, visitors and staff. As the Supervisor, you will also play a pivotal role in coordinating maintenance activities, which may include communicating across multiple shifts, management of plant operations and site maintenance tasks, purchasing, and developing non-capital maintenance projects.
Qualifications
Required Skills :
- Works independently with proven organizational skills and attention to detail
- Must be able to prioritize multiple tasks and exercise sound judgment
- Demonstrates proficiency in verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively and professionally with individuals at all levels; both internal and external
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Position Requirements :
High school diploma or equivalent required
Engineering, Technician, or Trade School degree preferred
Minimum of three years in custodial services or facilities management with at least one year in a supervisory capacity required
Annual influenza vaccination or declination required
Position Details :
