At UP Health System – Portage, providing an excellent patient experience is at the heart of everything we do. PortagePointe is actively seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). PortagePointe is a beautiful Eden Alternative home for 60 Elders from our community. There are five different homes where LPN’s have the opportunity to positively impact the lives of Elders through engaging in daily care and providing encouragement for each Elder to reach their maximum functional ability.
As a Licensed Practical Nurse in our Nursing Home, PortagePointe, you will have a significant impact on the Elders and staff that you interact with on a daily basis. You will be responsible for providing high-quality, professional, and compassionate patient care. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, a skilled decision-maker, and a team player.
Position Requirements:
Successful Completion of Nursing Program Required
Current Michigan LPN License Required
Basic Life Support (BLS) Required (Available Upon Hire)
1 Year Acute Care Experience Preferred
Annual Influenza Vaccination or Declination Required
Position Details
0.5 FTE (20 hours per week)
Evening/night shift
8 hour shifts
2nd and 4th weekend rotation
Christmas even years
