Overview
Up-North Plastics, a leading manufacturer of plastic products, is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic at its Cottage Grove, MN location on our night shift. Up North Plastics recently completed a new building at our Cottage Grove MN location and is hiring due to company growth. A successful candidate must be mechanically inclined and have some previous experience working on engines/vehicles/machines.

- Strong Mechanical Aptitude
- Experience working with hand/power tools
- The ability to work in a fast paced environment
Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
- Observing mechanical devices in operation and listening to their sounds to locate causes of trouble.
- Dismantling machines to gain access to remove defective parts, using hoists, cranes, hand tools, power tools, and safety lock-out devices.
- Inspecting used parts.
- Repairing or replacing defective parts.
- Installing new parts.
