What are the responsibilities and job description for the Superintendent/QCM/SSHO position at Up-Side Management Company?
Up-Side Management Company is seeking a Site Superintendent/SSHO/CQM for projects at NAS JRB New Orleans. The Super/SSHO/CQM will be responsible for managing the construction schedule, interface with the the client and subcontractors, order construction supplies, file daily reports, manage the Safety and Quality of the project to provide the client with a complete project according to budget and timeline.
The successful candidate must have the following skills and qualifications:
- 7-10 years of Experience with DOD (Department of Defense) construction projects - REQUIRED
- Valid OSHA 30 Hour in Construction - REQUIRED
- Valid Level 4 EM 385-1-1 certification - REQUIRED
- Valid CQM Certification - REQUIRED
- Valid First Aid/CPR - REQUIRED
- Provide accurate record keeping
- Manage Subcontractors and Vendors to ensure schedule is being met
- Manage the 3 week look ahead schedule for management updates
- Conduct Meetings
- Perform/Coordinate inspections
- Effective communication skills - verbal, electronic and written
- Demonstrate Leadership abilities
- Proficient in all Microsoft products
- Valid Drivers License
- Must be able to pass security background check
