Job Title: Oilfield Cable Technician (ESP Power Cables)
Location: Hermleigh, TX
Pay Rate: $20/hr Tons of Overtime
Schedule:
- Monday – Friday
- Every other weekend on-call
- 60-90 hours per week
Job Overview:
We are seeking an Oilfield Cable Technician to work on heavy-duty cables used to power Electro Submersible Pumps (ESP) in the field. This role requires a mechanically inclined individual to handle, install, and maintain these critical power cables. No prior experience is required—we will provide training.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of ESP power cables in the oilfield.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and ensure cables are in proper working condition.
- Follow safety protocols while working with high-voltage power equipment.
- Work in outdoor field conditions in various weather conditions.
- Be on-call every other weekend for emergency repairs or maintenance.
- Operate equipment and tools related to cable handling.
Requirements:
- Mechanically inclined – comfortable using hand tools and basic troubleshooting.
- Ability to work long hours (60-90 hours per week) with significant overtime.
- Must be comfortable working outdoors in oilfield environments.
- Willingness to be on-call every other weekend.
- Ability to lift and handle heavy-duty cables.
