GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
Up to Date Laundry is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Housekeeper to maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of our facility. This position involves a variety of cleaning, maintenance, and minor repair tasks to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for staff, visitors, and the community.
Position responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning and janitorial duties in common areas.
- Handle minor repairs, such as replacing light fixtures or unclogging pipes.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and cafeteria spaces.
- Conduct limited ground maintenance, including cleaning steps, vestibules, and other shared spaces.
- Maintain a well-organized janitor’s room and ensure adequate stock of cleaning supplies.
- Wash windows and perform other cleaning tasks as needed.
- Identify and report safety hazards to the Plant Manager.
- Carry out additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Familiarity with safety protocols and proper use of cleaning solutions.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic repair knowledge and ability to operate maintenance tools and equipment.
- Professional, polite, and courteous demeanor when interacting with others.
Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Must pass a background check.
Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of standing.

Must be able to lift, bend, stoop, climb, reach, and lift to 50 pounds at a time.
