Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, located in Ocean and Monmouth County, NJ. The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will be responsible for preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals, conducting imaging procedures, operating imaging equipment, ensuring radiation safety, and maintaining accurate records. Daily tasks also include patient care and providing detailed diagnostic images for cardiologists.
Qualifications
- Experience with PET, PET/CT, SPECT, or SPECT/CT imaging procedures
- Skills in preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals and ensuring radiation safety
- Proficiency in operating imaging equipment and maintaining accurate records
- Excellent patient care and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
- Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field
- Certification by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Experience in cardiac imaging is a plus
