Duties
- Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring a sterile environment and proper patient comfort.
- Prepare and organize treatment rooms, including sterilizing instruments and setting up necessary equipment.
- Take medical imaging, including X-rays, and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Record patient medical histories and vital signs accurately.
- Manage patient records using Curve software , ensuring all information is up-to-date and confidential.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions.
- Collaborate with the dental team in various specialties, including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery/implants.
- Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments.
Skills
- Proficiency in general dentistry practices and procedures.
- Familiarity with medical imaging techniques and equipment.
- Knowledge of prosthodontics, endodontics, pediatric dentistry, and relevant medical terminology.
- Experience with dental clinic operations and patient management software.
- Ability to take vital signs accurately and respond to patient needs compassionately.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in both clinical duties and administrative tasks.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
