Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Soccer Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sports coaching or and a commitment to educating young athletes in the fundamentals of soccer. This role involves working with players of varying skill levels, fostering teamwork, and promoting a positive sporting environment.
Monday-Friday we hold weekly 30 minute classes at preschools and daycares in Baton Rouge. We specialize in working with children under the age of five years old. Although soccer experience is not required,we do require childcare experience for the position at this time.
Duties
- Develop and implement training programs that enhance players’ skills and understanding of soccer.
- Conduct sessions sessions that focus on individual skill development, teamwork, and game strategies.
- Educate players on the rules of the game and sportsmanship principles.
- Organize and lead team practices, games, and tournaments.
- Provide constructive feedback to players to help them improve their performance.
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment for all participants.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate player progress and development goals.

- Stay updated on the latest coaching techniques and trends in soccer.
Skills
- Strong background in sports coaching, particularly in soccer is ideal but not required.
- Experience in physical education or related fields is preferred but not required.
- Expereince working with children under the age of 5 years old is required.
- Ability to educate young athletes effectively, fostering both skill development and personal growth.
- Knowledge of other sports such as basketball or martial arts can be beneficial.
- Certification in lifeguarding or childcare is a plus for ensuring safety during practices and events.
- Excellent communication skills to engage with players, parents, and other coaches.
- A passion for promoting health and fitness through sports activities.
- Must have a means on transportation as we travel from school to school during the day.

- Flexible schedule. Our classes are fixated around our preschools and daycares. Typically between the times of 8-12:00 PM and 2-4:30 PM we hold our sessions at each preschool. From 12:00-2:00 PM is nap time and we do not host classes.
