Job Purpose
The HR Generalist provides comprehensive on-site support to the Human Resources department, working closely with the HR Business Partner to deliver efficient and effective HR services. This role is responsible for assisting in the execution of HR initiatives, ensuring compliance with company policies, and supporting employees and managers with various HR-related needs. Key responsibilities include payroll processing, employee onboarding & new hire orientation, benefits coordination, recruitment, training, employee relations, policy implementation, affirmative action and employment law compliance, and serving as a resource for day-to-day HR inquiries. The HR Generalist plays a vital role in fostering a positive workplace culture and ensuring alignment with organizational goals. This position will report to the HR Business Partner and will be required to be at the site 5 days a week at our Monroe, WI facility.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
· Administers various human resource plans and procedures for all organization personnel; assists in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures.
· Serves as point of contact for employee relations issues. Advises, counsels, and provides feedback to managers.
· Responsible for maintaining employee records in HRIS system.
. Manage full cycle recruiting and onboarding for all hourly positions. This includes new hire orientation, required trainings and exit interviews.
. Process weekly payroll.
. Responsible for benefits administration, including open enrollment and employee inquiries.
· Conduct and/or assist with preparation and/or filing of mandatory reports, audits, EEO-1 filings, and compliance requirements.
· Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment and benefits laws and regulations.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
' 4 years experience in HR roles, including payroll and benefits administration.
. Bi-lingual in English and Spanish (preferred).
. Excellent written and verbal communication, time management, and organizational skills.
. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects in a timely manner.
. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
